I can’t recommend the Bridal Courtyard enough! We travelled down from Shetland for a wedding dress shopping weekend and of the three shops we visited this was by far my favourite! The boutique is beautiful, has a lovely calm feeling about it and really made me feel at ease. I loved that it was just myself and my bridal party in the shop, it made the experience so much more personal.

Lindsay really knows her stuff and you can tell she loves what she does! The dresses she stocks are elegant and classic but with a modern edge. I was drawn to the fact she’s an exclusive stockist of certain designers in Scotland. The dresses she has in store are exceptional quality and unlike any I’d seen in other shops.

Lindsay really took the time to get to know what styles I was looking for but also threw in some wildcard options just to try. She made the experience of finding my wedding dress even more magical! If you’re going dress shopping in 2026 book the Bridal Courtyard!

Honestly couldn’t recommend this place more, I went to this shop and another bigger shop and it was no where near as good as this one, we were made to feel so welcome when we came in and did not feel rushed, Lindsay was so kind and pulled out some amazing wild cards!! made the whole day so fun the quality of the dresses were so good and made me feel amazing, thank you so much

I cannot recommend The Bridal Courtyard highly enough! From the friendly and speedy pre-appointment communication to the warm welcome on arrival to the shop, I knew I’d gone to the right place. The shop itself is not only beautiful but it’s stocked with the most elegant and timeless dresses. Lindsay created a wonderful experience;  listened to what I was looking for, including my bridesmaids really nicely and overall made me feel comfortable, confident and special. Oh and they also ensured Prosecco and tissues were to hand!

I am delighted to have said yes to the dress at The Bridal Courtyard and suggest any bride makes a visit, you really won’t be disappointed!

Such a beautiful store and the ladies truly make us feel so special. Compared to a lot of other bridal stores and boutiques, what stood out to us was the complete lack of judgement and pressure when you walk in. Not to mention we found the perfect dress as well! Would definitely recommend!

If I could give Lindsay 6 stars I would. She was kind, uplifting, gave me space, and curated an atmosphere that truly put me at ease. The dress I found is perfect for me and I wouldn’t have found it without her! If you are looking for a more intimate shops experience, I can’t recommend The Bridal Courtyard enough. Also, I went to this appointment solo and it was pretty great, so if you think you might want to try shopping alone, this is the place to do that!

I visited The Bridal Courtyard after finding their page on Instagram and instantly falling in love with all their designs.
I chatted with Lindsay over email before my meeting, so I knew the store would be a good fit for me. Lindsay was super helpful over email, and even more so in person. I felt relaxed, comfortable and enjoyed my time at the boutique.
The shop is small but beautiful, I loved the 1-2-1 experience, and happy to say I found the one! This shop is perfect if you love clean cuts, elegant, modern and feminine styles.

Would thoroughly recommend The Bridal Courtyard. Lindsay is absolutely amazing at what she does and made me feel so at ease. She really listened to what I thought and made suggestions of gorgeous dresses that I wouldn’t have necessarily chosen myself – she really knows her stuff!
